"Lost Then Found" is the story of Christian Meier, a man who built his life around professional cycling and then chose to walk away to focus on new passions off the bike with his wife Amber.
When he left the bike shop he co-owned, something shifted. He stopped cycling altogether, even as a hobby, and without that outlet, he began to lose his way.
As Amber said, "when you take the athletics out of him, he really doesn't know who he is."
Christian found his way back through running. But it wasn’t the sport that pulled him in — it was the community. He realized it was never just about the bike. It was about the connection with others, the shared experiences, and that same bond was waiting for him in trail running. That’s when everything clicked. He fell in love with the sport, not for the races or results, but for the sense of belonging.
So much so, that he went on to create Overland Provisions, a trail running shop built to foster that very community he’d been searching for. Now, he’s channeling his energy into this new world, one step at a time.
Since then, he’s begun to see results — including a victory at TDS 2023 and a signing with Salomon. But his journey is far from over. This is just the beginning.
