The ABSA Cape Epic — the most important race of the season, and the BUFF-Megamo team came in ready to make history.
Hans Becking and Wout Alleman fought fiercely for the yellow jersey and José Días and Enrique Morcillo stood ready as the second couple, always there to support, proving that team spirit wasn’t just a strategy — it was the backbone of our performance.
This was more than a race. It was a battle where every rider had a role to play, and together, we pushed through the pain, stage after stage.
The yellow jersey was ours for two days — a moment in history for a team that, after 15 years, had never come so close to the ultimate prize.
Each year, we’re getting closer. The lessons, the teamwork, and the drive keep pushing us forward.
Now, there’s only one thing left on our minds for next year:
We’re not coming back to take part — we’re coming back to win it all.
